Kooties - A Fun Valentine’s Day Concept
This fun project started when my girlfriend got sick on Valentine’s Day and jokingly warned me that she’d give me “Kooties.” Seeing a bowl of Tootsie Frooties nearby, I had the idea to create a special edition candy: Kooties Fruit Chews.
I developed the branding from scratch, beginning with hand-drawn sketches inspired by the Frooties logo. From there, I refined the type, adding playful elements like a heart-shaped dot over the “i” to reinforce the Valentine’s Day theme. The final concept includes logo variations, packaging mockups, and playful ad visuals that capture the lighthearted and affectionate nature of the idea.
